Introduction

The bi-monthly Procurement Division meeting will be composed of a pre-meeting, hosted by the Contract Finance Committee on Monday, September 8th. Jon Etherton, NDIA Senior Fellow, will brief the preliminary results of his acquisition reform study. This session will be the first public event to feature the results of Jon's study prior to their formal publication. Due to space constraints, the pre-meeting is limited to 40 people.

The pre-meeting is followed by the full procurement division committee meetings with a luncheon general session on Tuesday, September 9th. At the luncheon, Will Goodman, NDIA Assistant Vice president for Policy, will brief NDIA's response letter to the DFARS business systems rule, currently in draft. Participants will have the opportunity to offer feedback before the letter is finalized and sent to DPAP on behalf of the Association.

Concurrent committee meetings on Tuesday, Sept. 9th, include the contract Finance Committee, Contract & Acquisition Management Committee, Legal Committee, and Procurement Executive Committee. The committees will review issues of common interest or concern and to discuss future actions.

You may register for the CF pre-meeting ONLY (9/8), the Procurement Division Committee Meetings with luncheon ONLY (9/9), or register for BOTH online. You will be asked to select which concurrent committee you will be attending on Tuesday, July 15th. Please select only one committee meeting to attend unless you are part of the Procurement Executive Committee.

After selecting your registration, you will be asked to choose which session(s) you will be attending on Tuesday, September 9th. If you are only attending the CF pre-meeting on Monday, please do not fill out this section.

If you plan to attend Tuesday, September 9, please only select the concurrent committee meeting you will ACTUALLY be attending and not all boxes. Please be sure to share this information with the person who is registering you online so that it is completed properly.

Cancellation Policy:

You may cancel your registration and receive a partial refund, minus the $15 cancellation/processing fee by COB Wednesday, September 3, 2014. No cancellation fee will be required for the cancellation for the CF pre-meeting.

If cancellation occurs after the September 3 cut-off date, no refund will be offered. Substitutions are welcome and encouraged. Please email Jennifer Sprinkel at jsprinkel@ndia.org with any cancellation/substitution requests.
