We have exciting news about our March Procurement Division Committee meetings! Brett Lambert, Former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Manufacturing and Industrial Base Policy, will be our luncheon speaker*. As an NDIA Senior Fellow, Mr. Lambert is spearheading the Industrial Base Initiative announced in early January. Mr. Lambert will be discussing this initiative and answering your questions.

We hope you will be able to attend this event to hear about Mr. Lambert's and NDIA's plans regarding the initiative and to demonstrate that the NDIA Procurement Division is a critically important and informative partner in support of the NDIA Industrial Base Initiative. Having a good turnout of experts will help solidify his view of your Committees as a go-to source of expertise.

*Please note that individuals will NOT be able to register for the luncheon separately.

As has become the tradition, the Contract Finance (CF) Committee will have a ½ day pre-meeting on Monday, March 10, 2014 from 1:30-4:30 pm at the NDIA Headquarters, 2111 Wilson Blvd, Suite 400, Arlington, VA 22201. Space is limited to 40 people and carries a separate registration fee of $20.

Mr. Pat Fitzgerald, Director, DCAA will be the pre-meeting’s featured speaker and will discuss topics such as:
-New issues on the horizon
-Business Systems
-CASB Disclosure Statements
-Statute of Limitations for Final Indirect Cost Rates

Presenters from McKenna, Long & Aldridge will cover issues such as DCAA audits and ICP submission Issues.

Happy hour, sponsored by The Claro Group, will take place immediately following the pre-meeting on Monday, March 10 at Ireland's Four Courts, 2051 Wilson Blvd, Arlington, VA 22201.
