We have exciting news about our January Procurement Division Committee meetings! Representative Mac Thornberry, the Vice Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee (HASC) and the head of the HASC's acquisition review, will be our luncheon speaker*. Rep. Thornberry will describe his acquisition review effort and answer your questions.

We hope you will be able to attend this event to hear about Rep. Thornberry's plans for future legislation and to demonstrate that the NDIA Procurement Division is a critically important and informative partner in his process of drafting that legislation. Having a good turnout of experts will help solidify his view of your Committees as a go-to source of expertise.

The bi-monthly Procurement Division committee meetings. Committee meetings include those for the Contract Finance (CF), Contract & Acquisition Management (CAM), Legal, and Procurement Executive Committees (PEC).

Please note that the CF Committee will conduct a pre-meeting from 1:30 - 4:30 PM on Monday, January 6, 2014 at the NDIA headquarters at 2111 Wilson Blvd, 4th Floor, Arlington, VA 22201 in addition to the regular meeting of the committee on Tuesday, January 7 at Arnold & Porter in Washington, DC. The half day pre-meeting carries a separate registration fee of $20.

*Individuals may register and attend the luncheon only. Please register at the $45 rate and select the luncheon from the sessions registration section - you MUST select attending the Luncheon to be included in the head count.

Cancellation Policy:

You may cancel your registration and receive a partial refund, minus the $15 cancellation/processing fee by COB December 30, 2014. No cancellation fee will be required for the cancellation of the CF Pre-Meeting.

If cancellation occurs after the January 2 cut-off date, no refund will be offered. Substitutions are welcome and encouraged, please email Jennifer Sprinkel, CMP, CGMP at with any cancellation/substitution requests.

Visitor Parking Access - Entering

  • Pull into the garage and go down a hill where you will see a barrier arm.  Pull a ticket from the automated ticket dispenser here.
  • Drive down to parking level P4 and pull up to the yellow A&P barrier arm near the elevator banks. You must park inside the gate on P4 to have  your ticket validated.
  • At A&P barrier arm, insert your parking ticket into the ticket station for scanning (red scanner light).
  • The barrier arm will lift and you may now remove the ticket from the scanner and park on either P4 or P5.

Visitor Parking Access - Exiting

  • Drive up to the yellow A&P outbound barrier arm on P4.
  • Insert your validated ticket into the ticket machine for scanning (red scanner light).
  • The P4 barrier arm will raise and you may now remove your ticket from the scanner and proceed to the main exit on P2
  • Insert your ticket into the ticket station at the main exit
  • Your validated ticket will be collected, the barrier arm will raise and allow you to exit.  Drive up the hill to the exit.
