2014 SOFIC (Special Operations Forces Industry Conference) will be held May 20–22, 2014 at the Tampa Convention Center, Tampa, FL. This year’s conference theme, “Strengthening the Global SOF Network,” will provide a forum for military, government, academia, and industry stakeholders to network and discuss current and future challenges and how to best support our Special Operations Forces (SOF) around the globe.

USSOCOM Commander, Admiral William H. McRaven, USN, and USSOCOM Acquisition Executive, Mr. James F. Geurts, will provide their perspectives on SOF’s challenges, trends, and interests and how industry partners can help support these areas. The conference will include panels made up of USSOCOM’s Component Commanders, TSOC Commanders, and Senior Enlisted Advisors who will provide Attendees with an understanding of key acquisition requirements, operations, and technology issues in the context of SOF’s current component and theater missions. Over the course of three days, Attendees will also have the opportunity to engage with USSOCOM Program Executive Officers, Science and Technology Managers, Office of Small Business Programs and Technology & Industry Liaison Office representatives, and other acquisition experts who will identify top priorities, business opportunities, and interests as they relate to USSOCOM acquisition programs. These open forums will enable conference Attendees to interact with USSOCOM Senior Leaders while collaborating on how to strengthen the global SOF network.

Senior Industry Executive Forum - CLOSED 

Forum registration is now closed. Pre-approved industry CEOs, COOs, and Presidents are invited to participate in a Senior Industry Executive Forum during 2014 SOFIC, to occur on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at 9:30 AM at the Tampa Convention Center, Rooms 10-12. Space is limited and advanced registration is required. Neither onsite registrations or substitutions will be accepted. Participation is on a first come, first served basis and limited to two Executive members from each company who carry the title of Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chief Operating Officer (COO), or President, space permitting. All registrations must be approved prior to processing. You will receive an e-mail to confirm your participation in the Forum. Please direct inquiries to Mrs. Christy J. A complimentary VISITOR badge for access to the Exhibit Hall only will be available onsite at the VISITOR registration booth, located just outside of the main Exhibit Hall entrance, Tampa Convention Center. VISITOR badges are limited to Active Duty Military (U.S. and International) or Spouse/Dependent, Law Enforcement, First Responder (EMT, Fire, Rescue, etc.), and Government Agency (CIA, FBI, HLS, DEA, etc.) employees. Contractors are not eligible for this complimentary badge, but may register for the “Exhibit Hall Only – Attendee” badge (see rate structure above). Valid picture ID must be presented onsite in order to obtain the VISITOR badge. Please note: This badge does not allow conference access. Payment must be made at the time of registration, and registrations will not be taken over the phone. Please be sure to register with the correct form of payment. A $25 fee will be applied to those wishing to switch forms of payment.

Cancellations and substitution requests must be made in writing, via email to Cancellations for full conference registration categories received by May 9, 2014 will receive a refund minus a $75 cancellation fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations received after May 9, 2014. Substitutions for this event are welcome in lieu of cancellations. Please note: This policy does not apply to exhibit booth cancellations.

Prior to your arrival at SOFIC, you will be emailed a confirmation barcode, which may be scanned onsite via paper print out or your mobile device, for faster service. During registration check-in, you will be issued a conference ID badge and any Gala tickets you have purchased, as well as a colored badge holder. Badge holders will only be available for pick-up onsite and must be worn at all SOFIC functions. You will not be allowed access to the events for which you have registered without the badge holder. Please be prepared to present a valid picture ID. Please note: If you have only purchased a Gala ticket, you will not be issued a badge and will  simply need to present your ticket upon entry at the Gala Reception & Dinner.
