The synergistic interaction between the human and complex defense systems is key to attaining improvements in total system performance and minimizing total ownership costs.  NDIA’s Human Systems Conference will examine the state of research and development being devoted to that synergistic interaction through technical presentations in all four categories of the Human Systems Integration (HSI) Defense Technology Area (DTA): 
• Systems Interfaces and Cognitive Processing (SICP)
• Social, Cultural and Behavioral Understanding (SCBU)
• Personnel Training & Leader Development (PTLD)
• Protection, Sustainment & Physical Performance (PSPP)

Cancellations received by Friday, January 24, 2014 will receive a refund minus a $75 cancellation fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations received after Friday, January 24, 2014. Cancellations must be made in writing to Ms. Molly Holt, Meeting Planner, at Substitutions to this event are welcome in lieu of cancellations.

Attendee Information

Appropriate dress for the conference is business casual for civilians and Class B uniform or uniform of the day for military personnel.

During conference registration and check-in, each Attendee will be issued an identification badge. Please be prepared to present a valid picture ID. Your badge must be worn at all conference functions.
Proceedings will be available on the web through the Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC) two weeks after the conference. All registered Attendees will receive an email notification once the proceedings are available.
