An excellent opportunity to network and interact with procurement officials for Training and Simulation products and services from the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force and new this year, VHA SimLEARN. Current and near-term opportunities are briefed, followed by question and answer sessions, to ensure clear understanding. Acquisition strategies, timing, and funding levels, if known, are briefed along with the appropriate point of contact information.
The TSIS has plenty of break time built into the agenda to allow for side-bar meetings with key Government attendees as well as Industry Partners to discuss teaming opportunities. The state of this year’s budget should be known as well as a better understanding of Sequestration effects for the out years, so the ‘crystal ball’ should be a little clearer this year.
We’re remaining at the Rosen Shingle Creek this year. We received many positive comments on the venue and will rearrange the room to allow better viewing for all. Once again the local organizations have worked together to present the TSIS (Wednesday-Thursday 11-12 June, CFL NDIA), the Scholarship Golf Tournament (Friday 13 June, CFL Quad-A), and the Army Birthday Ball (Saturday 14 June, AUSA Sunshine Chapter) all at the same venue.
