NDIA Procurement Division
NDIA's Procurement Division has been in existence since 1945, and to the present day its members serve as thought-leaders for the entire organization on matters related to procurement and acquisition policy, including legislation and regulation. As the NDIA voice for sound and practicable precurement and qcquisition policies and procedures on all matters affecting government and industry business relationships relating to the procurement and acquisition process, the Procurement Division is a key component of the NDIA mission to serve as a conduit for effective and ethical communication between industry and the government.
Its long-standing reputation in the procurement community has allowed the Procurement Division members to maintain close working relationships with government agencies and multi-organization coalitions and working groups. Historically, the division has conducted special studies to provide government with industry perspectives on policies, practices, needs, and problems - a tradition that has continued through to the modern day.
