Introduction

NDIA’s Test & Evaluation Division will be hosting a luncheon to honor the achievements of both the Walter W. Hollis Award and the Testers of the Year.

Distinguished Guest to Attend: The Honorable Frank Kendall, Under Secretary of Defense Acquisition, Technology & Logistics

Awards will be presented by The Honorable Dr. J. Michael Gilmore, Director, Operational Test and Evaluation, OSD.

WALTER W. HOLLIS AWARD 
The Walter W. Hollis Award is presented annually in recognition of lifetime contributions and achievement in the area of defense Test & Evaluation. The award is presented in the name of Walter W. Hollis, a former Deputy Under Secretary of the Army for Operations Research whose distinguished career was a civil servant spanned more than five decades and earned him the accolade "Grandfather of Test & Evaluation."

TESTER OF THE YEAR AWARDS
These awards, presented to outstanding individuals in the field of Test & Evaluation, offer OSD and each Military Service Test & Evaluation Department the opportunity to select three award recipients for recognition as the Tester of the Year in specific categories. The three categories recognized are: Military, Civilian and Contractor.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations received by Monday, March 25, 2013 at 2:00pm EST will receive a refund. No refunds will be given for cancellations received after Monday, March 25, 2013 at 2:00pm EST. Cancellations must be made in writing to lyuska@ndia.org. Substitutions to this event are welcome in lieu of cancellations.

 

Attendee Information

Attire
Gentlemen are required to wear a coat and tie and ladies attire should be of a comparable degree of formality. Short sleeved uniforms may be worn in The Club when it is the prescribed uniform of the day by respective military services.

ID Badge
During meeting registration and check-in, each Attendee will be issued an identification badge. Please be prepared to present a valid picture ID.
