Parking
Parking is available in the underground parking garage. Presently, the self parking rate is $10.00 from 0-2 hours; $16.00 from 2-5 hours; and $22.00 from 5 hours or more, per day per car. The self parking rate is $24.00 per car for overnight guests. The valet parking rate is $13.00 from 0-2 hours; $18.00 from 2-5 hours; and $27.00 from 5 hours or more, per day per car. The valet parking rate is $29.00 per car for overnight guests. These rates are subject to change.

Metro
The hotel is 0.1 miles from the Crystal City metro station located on the blue and yellow lines. Please note that the you may enter the hotel from the metro underground.

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Crystal Gateway Marriott.  To make your reservation, please call the hotel directly at (703) 920-3230.  In order to ensure the discounted NDIA rate, you must make your reservations early and ask for the "NDIA - Homeland Security" room block.  Rates are subject to increase after Friday, November 2, 2012.

Attire
Appropriate dress for the Homeland Security Symposium is business for civilians and Class A uniform or uniform of the day for military personnel.

ID Badge
During the symposium registration and check-in, each Attendee will be issued an identification badge.  Please be prepared to present a valid picture ID.  Your badge must be worn at all symposium functions.
 
Proceedings
Proceedings will be available on the web through the Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC) two weeks after the symposium.  All registered Attendees will receive an email notification once the proceedings are available.
