Introduction

Join NDIA, top Industry Leaders and Government Officials at our Legislative Information Division (LID) Breakfast Series held at the Army and Navy Club, Washington, DC. This is the 10th breakfast in the FY12 series, which features Rep. Joe Heck (R-NV), Military Readiness and Military Personnel Subcommittees of the House Committee on Armed Services.  He is also assigned as the only freshman appointed to the House Permanent Committee on Intelligence where he serves as the Chairman of the Technical and Tactical Intelligence Subcommittee.  As a Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserves, Representative Heck was called to active duty three times, including a deployment to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.  Prior to being elected to Congress, Representative Heck was a small business owner of a corporation dedicated to providing quality medical training and operational support to Law Enforcement, EMS and Military Special Operations.

 

Breakfast topics include today's Top Issues of government and the defense industry, new strategies for maintaining defense readiness, Congressional budget actions, national debt and deficit challenges facing our armed services and industry leaders, authorization and appropriations legislation for DoD, DHS and NASA, and procurement and acquisition policy and regulations.

The LID Breakfast series help to stregthening government-industry partnership through dialogue by providing interaction between the legislative, executive, and judicial branches.

Together we can ensure the continued existence of a viable, internationally competitive national technology and industrial base and strengthen the government-industry partnership.

Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your registration and receive a refund up to three (3) business days prior to the event. However, there is a $25.00 cancellation/processing fee that will be charged for all cancellations. If cancellation occurs after the cut-off date, no refund will be offered. Substitutions are wlcome and are encouraged.
