About Washington STEM:
Washington STEM is a statewide nonprofit advancing equity, excellence, and innovation in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education. Launched in March 2011, we invest in and lift up breakthrough ideas and promising practices that bridge education and our economy through STEM. Together with educators, businesses, and communities, we are reimagining STEM education for every student, improving opportunities for those most underserved and underrepresented in STEM fields. We will be successful when all students in our state are STEM literate; prepared for and succeed in post-secondary STEM pathways; and obtain family wage-earning jobs, particularly in STEM fields.
