Introduction
A meeting of very senior Department of Defense (DoD) Officials, Test & Training Range Operators, and Test & Training Range Users, to discuss capabilities, emerging technologies, and funding for L-V-C test & training range infrastructure.
Senior DoD officials will discuss range utilization policies and funding challenges. Senior Eglin AFB leaders will describe recent experiences integrating Air Force and Army Special Operations training with its test mission.
Experts from DoD and industry will present on distributed L-V-C Technologies, Information Assurance/Network Security, Cyberwar Testing & Training, Spectrum Management, and the effect of JFCOM/Joint Staff reorganization on joint test-training collaboration.
Range users and range operators across DoD will offer experiences and perspectives on integrating test and training events. Objective: Sharing policy and best practices for collaboration across test/training communities and events for mutual efficiency, effectiveness, and to meet Joint Key Performance Parameters.
