Introduction

MDA’s Office of Small Business Programs has joined forces with MDA’s Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Program to bring you the NDIA’s Annual Missile Defense Small Business Program and SBIR/STTR Programs Conference. The conference will provide information relevant to MDA Program requirements, an overview of MDA’s 12.2 SBIR Research Areas and solicitation topics and provide opportunities for matchmaking with MDA Personnel and MDA Prime contractors.

This conference will provide small businesses with a “one-stop shopping” opportunity to learn as much as they can about MDA programs from Program Executives. Attendees will also gain insights from SBIR Research Area Leads, Directors of Contracting and the Office of Small Business Programs.

NDIA’s Annual Missile Defense Small Business Programs and SBIR/STTR Programs Conference attendees will receive information designed to assist small businesses in understanding MDA Advanced Technology Program requirements.  Attendees will also have the opportunity to attend one-on-one meetings with large MDA prime contractors, MDA 12.2 SBIR topic authors, government small business specialists, and contracting officers.

By meeting with SBIR Topic Authors attendees will learn gain insight into writing stronger, more focused competitive proposals. There will also be numerous opportunities for networking with other large and small businesses.

Cancellations

All cancellation, substitution, and refund requests must be submitted in writing no later than April 4, 2012 to NDIA, attn: Rebecca Danahy via e-mail at rdanahy@ndia.org. There is a $75 cancellation fee for all refunds. Refunds will not be given for no-shows. If an attendee shows a balance and does not attend the conference, he/she will be invoiced for payment. This cancellation policy applies to all attendees regardless of their method of registration or reason(s) for cancellation.

Substitutions are welcome in lieu of cancellations. All substitutions must be made in writing to Rebecca Danahy at rdanahy@ndia.org.  

Displays

Interested in displaying? See below for displayer details.

Included in the price of Display ($500)
Included in the price to display is registration for one person (the displayer), one standard draped table and chair, and electrical hookup.  The displayer is welcome and encouraged to attend all events during the conference, including continental breakfasts, breaks, luncheons, one-on-one matchmaking and general sessions.  Additional displayers must be registered for the conference as an attendee but can request a displayer ribbon on his/her badge.

*Your display may not exceed 6 feet wide by 4 feet deep.

Setup
Displays can be set up on Monday, May 7, 2012 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. 

Dismantle
Displays must be taken down after the afternoon break on Wednesday, May 9, 2012.  All materials should be removed from the display area by 5:00 PM on Wednesday, May 9, 2012.  You must bring your own packing equipment with you and label out going packages properly to be shipped out.

Display location
All displays will be in the South Hall where the networking breaks and reception will be held.  Actual table location of the displays in this area is on a first come, first serve basis at move in.
