Introduction

Join us for this elegant evening when we will honor an inspiring American patriot and enjoy the fellowship of corporate representatives, military officers, and distinguished government officials. Following dinner and patriotic music, the Eisenhower Award will be presented.

Dwight D. Eisenhower Award
The Dwight D. Eisenhower Award recognizes the significant contributions Dwight David Eisenhower made as President of the United States and as General of the Army to the long-term strategic posture of America’s defense industrial base. The award is given to an American citizen who has made an outstanding contribution toward increasing public awareness of our national defense needs. 

Nominations are solicited from the membership of NDIA, and the National Board of Directors makes the final selection. The award consists of a gold medal and citation and is presented at the Annual Award Dinner.

NDIA has a room block for the period May 30-31, 2012.

April 30 is the cutoff date to receive the NDIA rate. Reserve early! Hotel space sells out quickly at this time of year.

$269.00, for single or double occupancy. Hotel room rates are subject to applicable state & local taxes (currently 9%) in effect at the time of check-in.

Representatives of industry purchase dinner tables of ten, half tables (5 seats) or individual tickets. At the tables full and half tables, NDIA may assign Department of Defense guests. (These individuals are guests of the association and do not pay.) NDIA will arrange seating for guests at the dinner and those invited by NDIA. Guests must obtain their tickets just prior to the dinner at the registration area.

Appropriate dress for military is mess dress. For civilians, it is black tie.
