Introduction

The National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA)  in conjunction with the U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council and the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates Trade and Commercial Office is leading a delegation of US aerospace, defense  and  IT security/infrastructure  companies on a trade mission to the UAE.  This highly specialized and exclusive opportunity will enable your company to:

  • Assess the market opportunities for your products and services in the region
  • Understand the legal and regulatory framework of doing business in the UAE
  • Meet with established Tier 1 aerospace & defense contractors
  • Develop relationships with UAE companies as potential partners and/or customers

Take advantage of this trade mission to explore how your company can develop a successful business venture in the UAE.   Acquire critical information for establishing your business in the UAE and becoming a part of an over $270 billion economy.    Learn how your company can join other US companies who have already received part of the over $15B that the UAE has spent over the past two years on defense goods and services.  According to the U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council, over the next five years the UAE is expected to significantly increase the level of its defense and aerospace procurements and investments, as well as greatly expand the level of spending in homeland security and critical national infrastructure related services and capabilities.  Do not miss this opportunity to meet with Senior UAE officials, the US Embassy and executives from UAE companies to develop the contacts necessary to establish your company's operations in the UAE.

The UAE is an excellent destination in the Middle East to set up your operations due to its logistical infrastructure and central location in the region.   In the UAE, your employees can access quality education, community oriented neighborhoods within urban environments, and modern transportation options, affording your employees a lifestyle that they are accustomed to  in the United States.  Most companies will also discover a highly qualified local UAE workforce which can add local contacts and expertise to your company.

Tier 2-4 companies with products/services in the following areas are well-positioned to take advantage of this exclusive business expansion opportunity:

  • Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing
  • Aerospace & Defense Services
  • IT Security Services & Infrastructure
