Introduction

The Missile Defense Agency Small Business conference will provide information relevant to MDA Program requirements and provide opportunities for matchmaking with MDA Prime contractors.

This small business conference will provide small businesses with a “one-stop shopping” opportunity to learn as much as they can about MDA programs from Program Executives and the Director of Contracting.   

Attendees of the July 20-21st Missile Defense Agency Small Business Conference will receive information designed to assist small businesses in understanding the MDA Program requirements and provide a forum for one-on-one meetings with large and small MDA prime contractors, government small business specialists and contracting officers. 

One-on-One Matchmaking Instructions

Upon arriving at the event please proceed to the registration table. There you will receive your name badge and four (4) labels that include your name and company. These four labels will represent the four (4) one-on-one appointments you have been allotted. You will use these labels to select the time slot with the company with whom you would like to meet. The actual appointments will take place between 2:00pm-5:00pm on Thursday at the Von Braun Center North Hall. Each appointment will be 15 minutes long with a 5 minute break in between. 

On Wednesday registration will start at 2:30pm at the Embassy Suites Huntsville. Beginning at 4:30 there will be an opening reception where Prime Contractors introduce their companies and discuss the products and services they procure. In order to properly align the product or service that you sell with the needs of a prime contractor, it is important that you attend this reception.  In addition, there will be time at the reception to network with the large prime contractors, MDA personnel and other attendees. Also during this time, from 6:15pm-7:00pm, half of the matchmaking appointment will be available for scheduling. The remaining half of the appointments will be available the morning of the 21st.

On Thursday registration will start at 6:30am at the Von Braun Center North Hall. Parking is located in the North Hall parking lot off of Clinton Avenue.  During this time the second half of the appointments for each company will be made available. Please note if you received your labels the evening before do not forget to bring them with you. We WILL NOT be reprinting any labels onsite.  All of the appointment signups will be available until 2:00 pm when Matchmaking will begin.
