Introduction

The US National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA), Insensitive Munitions European Manufacturers Group (IMEMG), and the NATO Munitions Safety Information Analysis Center (MSIAC) are sponsoring a joint industry/government symposium on Insensitive Munitions (IM) and Energetic Materials (EM) at the Munich Marriott Hotel in
Munich, Germany on October 11-14, 2010. The theme for this year's symposium is "International Progress in Insensitive Munitions and Energetic Materials"

IM Technology is being deployed into more weapon systems internationally. As military operations become more multinational, the importance of common international IM standards and the understanding of technical solutions is critical. The 2010 IM and EM Technology Symposium is a major international gathering for the exchange of information on new technologies and innovations for energetic materials and for achieving IM.
