We are currently accepting abstracts for papers and presentations covering the general areas of:
- Interior Ballistics
- Exterior Ballistics
- Launch Dynamics
- Vulnerability
- Terminal Ballistics & Impact Physics
- Explosion Mechanics
Abstracts must be submitted by November 26, 2010, and will only be received via the following weblink:

Abstracts will only be accepted through this weblink and all required information must be completed. Please note that those presenting papers are not exempt from standard registration fees charged to all symposium attendees.
Notification of approvals will be sent via e-mail to the Principal Author after February 14, 2011.
Papers will be selected on the basis of originality, technical merit, clarity of presentation and general interest. Marketing presentations will not be accepted.
Each paper should be intended for a 20-minute oral presentation or for continuous poster display. The presentation of a paper does not waive the symposium registration fees.
All selected presenters will be required to pay a non-refundable $250 deposit for their final paper’s inclusion in the printed proceedings. This deposit is deducted from the registration fee.
The official language is English. All papers must be unclassified and cleared for public release. Abstracts are not to exceed 500 words in length. However, you may submit up to 1 additional page of supporting material. Abstracts can be submitted in .doc, .docx, or .pdf format.
Abstracts must include the symposium session targeted, and whether you prefer to make an oral or poster presentation.
All requested information on the submittal website must be completed for the abstract to be considered. Once an abstract has successfully been submitted, a confirmation email will be sent to the Principal Author.
The Principal Author is the main contact for the abstract/presentation/paper and will receive all notifications, confirmations, and furthur instructions from NDIA.
