Introduction

The National Defense Industrial Association, in conjunction with AIA, will be hosting the spring TRI-Association Small Business Advisory Panel (TRIAD) Conference. The TRIAD was formed in 1967 to coordinate the efforts of small business subcontracting representatives from three industry associations – Aerospace Industries Association (AIA), National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) and formerly Government Electronic Industries Association (GEIA).  It was formed to serve the best interests of the industry associations and their member companies, affected government agencies, and the small business community.

The meeting provides an opportunity to exchange pertinent information concerning both small and small disadvantaged business and related matters.  They also foster broad-based government-industry communications, cooperation, and understanding.

TRIAD provides a forum in which members may benefit from the exchange of experience, ideas, and information. It acts in an advisory capacity for the development of industry responses to government inquiries.  TRIAD also transmits government views to industry through the Materiel Committees of AIA and NDIA.
