Introduction
The capabilities of our nation’s Special Operations Forces are continuously evolving with today’s ever-changing irregular warfare environment. Getting the right capabilities at the right price and the right time to the Special Operations Operator is paramount to the success of the warfighter. USSOCOM is focused on accelerating the force by improving the command’s acquisition agility and responsiveness; advancing science and technology development; developing, acquiring, and supporting USSOF specific equipment, materials, supplies, facilities, and services; and coordinating with and advocating for the Services’ procurement and sustainment.
This year’s Special Operations Forces Industry Conference (SOFIC) & Exhibition will address business, leadership and acquisition challenges, opportunities, and initiatives the Special Operations Command is leading to ensure acquisition remains at the forefront of accelerating solutions to the Special Operations Forces.
