Introduction
Gain insights, access, opportunities and partners to power the Marine Corps' energy efficient vision. Join Marine Corps leaders and industry experts as they explore challenges and opportunities to lighten the Marine Corps' power and energy demands in an Expeditionary environment today and in the future.
Power and Energy costs and dependency are posing a greater threat to national security and changing expeditionary warfare. Today the Marine Corps is deploying and seeking a wide range of solutions to lighten the load on warfighters; reduce its overall footprint in Afghanistan; lessen energy consumption and dependence on fossil fuels; and achieve greater energy efficiency in combat zones and expeditionary environments. This Symposium is about finding those solutions.
The Symposium features:
- A key note address by Marine Commandant, General James T. Conway on the Corps' power and energy efficient vision
- Key insights and a special briefing on the Marine Corps' long term, mid term and immediate energy gaps and challenges
- A preview of expeditionary warfare in the future by a leading military futurist
- Special elevator pitch opportunities for select solutions that meet the Corps' immediate critical needs and extended Q and A sessions with Symposium speakers
- Invitations to partner and participate in the Marine Corps' model forward operating base in Quantico, VA
This does not constitute an endorsement by the U.S. Marine Corps, the Department of the Navy, or the Department of Defense, of any information, products, events, or services contained herein.
