Introduction

The 2010 Munitions Executive Summit will be focused on the ongoing challenge of aligning industrial capabilities with the evolving munitions requirements and resource parameters.  This annual summit is attended by industry executives, acquisition leaders, program managers, and academia involved in the US munitions enterprise.
  
The totality of this munitions enterprise continues to work in collaboration to improve the availability and responsiveness of critical munition assets required by the warfighter in protecting the U.S. and its allies. The US munitions enterprise continues to seek out ways to improve the acquisition process and overall program execution of ordnance-related products that enable the most effective and reliable firepower for our soldiers. This summit will explore the contemporary dynamics that affect both the current and future industrial manufacturing complex that services our warfighting capability. The 2010 Munitions Executive Summit will also feature world-renowned experts in related disciplines to better assess the current and future requirements as they relate to: budget constraints, service priorities, and industrial base perspectives.
