Introduction

CONFERENCE OBJECTIVE

The 2010 Joint CBRN Conference and Exhibition will provide a forum for the exchange of CBRN defense information among warfighters, CBRN incident responders, technology developers, acquisition professionals and the supporting industry.  This exchange will focus on a better understanding and increased responsiveness to CBRN defense user's needs.  Selected speakers from CBRN defense stakeholder organizations will discuss current issues and future direction.  The exhibition will showcase the broad array of CBRN defense equipment and technologies, as well as the latest in training and logistics capabilities.

WHY YOU SHOULD ATTEND

  • The potential for use of CBRN weapons by rogue nations or terrorist organizations, at home or abroad, remains as strong as ever.  To ensure readiness for such an event, the CBRN community stakeholders – including  uniformed and civilian employees of all the Services and other government agencies, international partners, defense industry contractors and concerned academia – come together to share information about the threat, our capability to deal with it, and our future CBRN defense requirements.
  • Selected speakers will discuss current issues and trends, and provide insights and perspective.  The first day will focus on CBRN consequence management for Homeland Defense.  The second day will focus on the Joint CBRN missions that stem from DoD CBRN Defense Program.
  • This exhibition will showcase the vast array of CBRN defense capability provided by both government and supporting industry.  Indoor exhibits will be housed in a climate-controlled pavilion.  Outdoor exhibits will be conveniently located between Baker Theater and the exhibits pavilion.
  • Both government and industry exhibitors will have an opportunity to participate in selected demonstrations of CBRN defense equipment and technologies.
  • This assembly of CBRN sector leaders, industry partners and other stakeholders will offer unparalleled networking opportunity.
