Introduction

The presentation will provide current information on the state of the Merger & Acquisition markets for defense contractors and draw on experience from active players in mergers and acquisitions within the government contracting industry, from multiple perspectives.  Our panel has worked on more than 100 transactions in this space in the last 5 years.  The presenters will share their observations of current market conditions, changes in government contracting policies, trends in valuations of companies and elements of successful purchase and sale transactions.  Some of the unique current issues  in this industry that will be addressed include OCIs, insourcing, DCAA audits, classified contract diligence, retention of top talent, and future budgetary constraints.  This event will be highly interactive and will be relevant and useful if a firm is a present or future buyer or seller.
