Attendee Information

ATTIRE
Appropriate dress for the conference is business casual attire for civilians and Class B or uniform of the day for military personnel.

ID BADGE
During conference registration each attendee will be issued a conference badge. Please be prepared to present a valid picture I.D. Badges must be worn at all conference functions.

TRANSPORTATION
Attendees must provide their own transportation to all event activities. The closest airport is the Baltimore-Washington International Airport (44 miles). The closest train station is Amtrak-Aberdeen Station (5 miles).

DRIVING DIRECTIONS 

APG may be entered through the Route 715 Gate (Visitors and NON-CAC Card Holders) or the Route 22 Gate (Federal ID/CAC Holders Only).  Directions for each and to the Mallette Training Facility (MTF) are below:

MTF via ROUTE 715 GATE (MARYLAND BLVD GATE)

NOTE: There are no requirements to have government stickers on your vehicle. Visitors who do not possess official US Government identification must enter via the Visitor Center at the Route 715 Gate (Maryland Ave). A photo identification, license, vehicle registration, and insurance card may be required at the Visitor Center to obtain a Visitor Badge.

From the South 

  • Take I-95 North to exit 80 (Riverside/Churchville)
  • Follow MD 543 South for about 1.2 miles to US 40 East
  • Take US 40 East towards Aberdeen
  • Exit onto MD 715 and proceed to the APG Visitor Center on right

From the North

  • Take I-95 South to exit 80, Route 543 (Riverside/Churchville)
  • At top of ramp, turn left onto MD 543 South. Drive approximately 1.2 miles to US 40 East
  • Take exit onto US 40 East
  • Exit onto MD 715 and proceed to APG Visitor Center on right

MTF (Building 6008) from Maryland Blvd Gate

  • Proceed straight until you get to the 2nd stoplight and make a right onto Combat Drive.
  • Go straight for about ¾ mile until you see two grey steel buildings on your left hand side.
  • After the grey buildings, take the second left on Satellite Drive which runs behind the Team C4ISR campus buildings parking lots. Continue for approximately ½ mile and make your first right on Jayhawk Road at the small utility building with a fence around it. The MTF building will be on your left.

MTF via ROUTE 22 GATE (HARFORD GATE)

NOTE: This gate is accessible for Federal ID (CAC) Holders only.  

From I-95 

  • Take I-95 exit 85 (Aberdeen/Churchville, route 22)
  • Proceed 2 miles onto Route 22 East towards APG
  • Road ends at the Route 22/Harford Gate 

MTF (Building 6008) frpm Harford Gate

  • Drive through Route 22/Harford Gate onto Harford Blvd.
  • Make right onto Maryland Blvd.
  • At 3rd light, make a left onto Combat Drive, go straight for about ¾ mile until you see two grey steel buildings on your left hand side.
  • After the grey buildings, take the second left on Satellite Drive which runs behind the Team C4ISR campus buildings parking lots. Continue for approximately ½ mile and make your first right on Jayhawk Road at the small utility building with a fence around it. The MTF building will be on your left. 

PARKING
Drive beyond the Mallette Training Facility (MTF) and park in front of the building or across Reconnaissance Street. There is a pedestrian bridge that connects to the front parking lot if that is full.
