This is the 22nd year that NDIA has sponsored this event in conjunction with the Department of Defense. The Systems and Mission Engineering Conference will convene on October 21-24, 2019 in Tampa, FL. This conference will focus on improving acquisition and performance of Defense programs and systems, including system - of - systems engineering, systems security, net-centric operations and data/information interoperability, and all aspects of system sustainment. This conference is sponsored by the National Defense Industrial Association, Systems Engineering Division, in cooperation with IEEE Aerospace and Electronic Systems Society, IEEE Systems Council and the International Council on Systems Engineering, and is supported by the Office of the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research & Engineering (OUSD(R&E)).
- Connect - Network with Program Managers, System Engineers, Chief Scientists and Engineers and Managers from the Requirements, Design, Verification, Support, Logistics and Test communities from government and industry from both domestic and abroad.
Learning Opportunities - In addition to the tutorials and plenary session, the 2018 conference offered two days of nine concurrent sessions on over twenty topics with nearly 200 breakouts and close to 250 speakers.
