Technology Firing Demonstration

The 2018 Armament Forum will conclude with a technology demonstration that is scheduled to take place at Camp Atterbury, Indiana on Thursday afternoon 10 May 2017. If your company is interested in demonstrating a new, or improved weapon system, ammunition, fire control or other applicable evolving technology or capability, please contact Mr. Sal Fanelli at salvatore.fanelli@usmc.mil.

Participants in the firing demonstration are requested to focus on design and/or performance improvements or new capabilities.  The contractor shall describe the new design features and functional benefits by providing a short briefing of the technology/system and demo the item prior to Forum attendee assessments. Submittal of an abstract or poster for the Forum program is also recommended. Contractors or government program offices planning to participate in the demonstration must complete application and plans by no later than 12 January 2018. (Must confirm this date prior to issuing).

Special Information- Please be sure to bring the following to the Technology Firing Demonstration:

  • Safety goggles
  • Long sleeve shirts without pockets
  • Long pants 
  • Closed-toe shoes
  • Ear protection
  • Eye protection
