Mission
The TRIAD, which was formed in 1967 to coordinate the efforts of small business subcontracting representatives, is currently run by the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA). TRIAD’s goal is to promote a dialogue between NDIA member companies, affected government agencies and the small business community fostering a broad-based government-industry communication, cooperation, and understanding.
TRIAD provides a forum in which members may benefit from the exchange of experience, ideas, and information. It acts in an advisory capacity for the development of industry responses to government inquiries. TRIAD also transmits government views to industry through the Materiel Committees of NDIA.
