Cyber Education and Workforce Committee

The primary objective of the Cyber Educations and Workforce Development Committee is to provide an active focal point within NDIA to promote an dialogue among government, industry, academia and other organizations on Cyber Education and Workforce Development issues.

The purpose of the Cyber Educations and Workforce Development Committee is to facilitate outreach to the Workforce Development community, to create a spirit of partnership among the private and public sectors that serve it, to serve as a forum to develop new ideas related to Training and Educating the Cyber Workforce and to act as NDIA’s principal cyber resource in support of NDIA’s chapters and members.

Bios

Michael Shivers
Michael brings over 25 years of experience in Cyber Education and Workforce Development Training Solutions. For the past 12 years his focus has been on Enterprise Wide Cyber Education and Certifications Training Solutions for Government, Academia, Healthcare, Banking and Fortune 500. He currently the Sr. Program Manager for web based training solutions at EC-Council  North America.

Glenn Burrows
Glenn is a Cyber Security Analyst and Information System Security Officer for the International Trade Commission.  Prior to this position, Mr. Burrows was the Security Operations Center Operations Manager for the Veterans Administrator.  He has been in the cybersecurity field for the last 20+ years.  Mr. Burrows has a Masters in Information Security and Certifications from CompTIA and EC-Council.
