The U.S. defense industry is highly regulated by the U.S. Government, especially regarding the manufacture and export of defense items and services controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and dual-use items controlled under the Export Administration Act (EAA). 

The information and resources presented herein are intended to serve as a reference source for companies engaging in the export/import of defense articles.

Each company is individually responsible for ensuring its export/import activities are in compliance with all U.S. Government and foreign nations' laws and procedures when manufacturing, exporting, or importing defense articles and services including ITAR-controlled technical data that might be included in marketing or bid and proposal scenarios.
