Industrial Committee Of Ammunition Producers
Mission
To serve as a forum for interested NDIA members and other concerned parties to review and discuss issues, policies, and procedures in the ammunition arena and to examine industry and government initiatives relating to the ammunition life cycle.
This Committee serves the Commanding General, US Army Operations Support Command, headquarters at Rock Island, IL. There is an industry co-chair. Committee membership consists of three NDIA and ten industry representatives, with three military and one government civilian participating. Industry members, who usually serve two-year terms, represent segments or sectors of the ammunition base and routinely communicate and exchange ideas with other industry players within their assigned community. Active sectors of the Committee include Demilitarization; Fuzes, Government-Owned/Contractor-Operated Plants; Medium Caliber; Large Caliber; Propellants and Explosives; Warheads and Rockets; Pyrotechnics, and Systems.
